The "Raisuni Battle" stands as one of the pivotal milestones in the history of resistance in Northern Morocco. As part of our ongoing commitment to digitize and make the archives of the late historian Taher El Lhioui accessible to researchers and those interested, we present today a documentary analysis based on the original manuscripts and documents in our collection.

Study Summary:

This work provides a critical analysis of the Raisuni Battle, examining the military tactics, geopolitical implications, and tribal dynamics that shaped the course of events. Drawing on primary sources from the private archive of the late historian Taher El Lhioui, we offer a documentary reading of the resistance movements in Northern Morocco.

This research highlights the strategic role played by regional leaders during this critical juncture, opening new horizons for understanding the historical narrative and its impact on the region's socio-political structure. This work represents an essential contribution to the historiography of Northern Morocco, preserving memory through the digitization and analysis of previously inaccessible documents.

Note: This analysis is published via the "Northern Morocco Archive" platform, dedicated to documenting rare manuscripts, the history of resistance, and the cultural heritage of the mountainous and Rif regions.
