Tahar Ibn Abdessalam Lhioui (1917–2013) and His Book "History of the Leader Moulay Ahmed Raisouni" The Author's Identity Tahar ibn Abdessalam ibn Abdelwahhab al-Sharif al-Lahywi al-Wahhabi al-Alami al-Idrissi al-Hasani (1917 – May 20, 2013) was a Moroccan historian, genealogist, and activist from Afranou, Larache Province. He is considered one of the great scholars of genealogy in the Greater Maghreb, known by the titles "the Allamah" and "the Chief Genealogist." He was buried in the Bani Aros tribe in northern Morocco, the same region where Raisouni was born and raised.
